corporate functions to global events.
Our company advisors have operated at key
levels of event management at both Silver
and Bronze level, advising the next tier in
leadership –Bronze to Silver and Sliver to Gold
-in both normal and emergency operations.
We have developed event management
plans that provides subject matter expertise
on event operations safety related to crowd
management, fire and emergency evacuation
and assisting in timely decision making on
emergency situations.
This expertise provided our clients and the
Operations Directors of events with expert
advice and assurance, ensuring so far as
reasonably practicable the health, safety and
welfare of all guest visiting/attending events
based upon the countries Health and Safety
legislation and guided by internationally
recognised best practice.
Ogma Safety Advisors managed the Health
and Safety in 10 of the 12 stadia in which the
Euros 2020 was played across Europe in
Glasgow, Bilbao, Seville, Rome, Budapest,
Bucharest, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Munich
and St Petersburg with the placement of
Ogma Safety Advisors in each stadium.
Our Advisors lead in the Technical set up for
UEFAmanaging the build, install, and derig of
all temporary structures, audio and visual, and
compound development at each stadium. We
were responsible for conducting inspections
of all operational areas to ensure compliance
with Health and Safety standards and identify
non-compliance, unsafe practices and
conditions. Responding to health and safety
incidents to provide subject matter expertise
and assistance with the immediate response
and management of the incident.
We conducted incident investigations to
identify root causes of incidents and identify
relevant corrective actions and ensure their
implementation across operations. Our
Advisors supported the implementation
of the Clients Health and Safety strategy
and management arrangements, including
review of site management and event safety
standards in line with the overall objectives of
the organisation.

Expo 2020 Dubai was a Global event that had
the participation of over 190 countries across
the world looking at connecting socially,
economically, and culturally. Expo 2020 run
for 6 months, 7 days a week, with hundreds of
different Events in that time. 24 million visitors
attended Expo 2020. Ogma Safety provided 20
Health and Safety Managers and a number of
Visitor Safety Managers for the event. Roles
included:

Ogma Safety has supplied 16 Health and
Safety Managers for the 2022 Common
Wealth Games based in Birmingham
England. Our Advisors were located in
each of the venues as well as the Athletics
Villages. Our advisors working under the
CDM ethos observed and review method
statements,
risk assessments and implementation
and management of safe working
systems on all of the various Primary
Contractors on site constructions in the
Arena’s and in the Athlete’s Villages
advising and assuring our
client throughout. Following the
construction phase we reviewed all
relevant Health and Safety files, sign off
documents for temporary structures and
other Overlay installations
and continued carrying out assurance
duties on contractors RAMS, developing
venue Health and safety plans including
Emergency Evacuation Plans, observing
contractors practices, and observing
crowd movement and management
during live games.

Whilst Ogma Safety specialises on
supplying large Teams of Event Health

been relied upon in one to six person
operations in major events.

World Economic Forum in Davos and
Advisor to the Notting Hill Carnival,

Ogma Safety delivered the Safety Operations for the Ferrari
Festival 2023 at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, developing the
Event Safety Management Plan, provided assurance for our client
with their contractors, ensuring contractors had the relevant safety
documentation and competent staff to build the sites. Ogma
managed the safety of the site build in the Fanzone and VIP and
Acton Zone areas. Ogma managed the safety of the live event
that included Fanzone activities, Ferrari Parade, Ferrari Drivers
meet and greet, VIP Pit and Track Side experiences. Ogma
Safety also oversaw the Event Derig operations.
Untold Festival Dubai 2024 was the first Mega Music Festival to be held in Dubai. Located at
Expo City Dubai, the 4-day mega festival saw almost 200 Artists perform on 4 stages over
the course of 4 days and nights attracting in region of 185,000 visitors. Ogma Safety
developed the Event Safety Management Plan, managed the heath and safety of the event
site build and derig across 4 major areas. Ogma Safety developed and implemented the
Crowd Management Plan & Strategies,and managed the safety and crowd management of
the live event.
Ogma Safetyhas secured tenders and contracts
for anumber of Government events, Private
Sector promotors, and Television Production
Companies to prepare and deliver event Health
and SafetyManagement Planning &Welfare,
event Health and Safety management, Event
Control Room (ECR) management, and Traffic
Management. We have also secured contracts
for NGO’sand Sporting Organisations for
International sporting events such as Cricket
Ireland, and Music Festivals.
Ogma have expertise in designing and
writing a Health and Safety Event Plan from
concept stage through to live delivery stage,
engaging with multi-agency structures such
as Civil defence bodies such as the
Ambulance, Fire and Rescue Service &
Police, and briefing all event staff on health
and safety needs at events.
